Hello scrappers! Today is my last post here from Scrapplezier! My today's project is totally inspiring on another one from Maggie Holmes. I use my last scraps from Piña Colada collection (Kaisercraft) do a layout about a day when my colleagues and I go to take a kind of shellfish. It's was a funny day and I try to translate it to my page using handstitching to embellish it. 

I use the strips of papers to color my layout and emphasize my picture doing a horizontal line. I choose my focal embellish a hand stitching, a great way to put some fun on your pages. It's a clean design but I love how it turn.

For my page I used: Patterned Paper and Tab (Piña Colada Kaisercraft), Rhinestones (Kaisercraft), Distress Ink Broken China, stamp: Studio Calico, brads, vellum, thread.

Hope you have liked my time here on Scrapplezier. I had so much fun doing these projects and I hope I inspiring you to create a little bit with my projects. It was a great opportunity to be here on this shop, and I have enjoyed everytime we passed together.

Nieuwe Sketch Challenge@Scrapplezier.nl !!!!

Het lijkt wel of wij momenteel in de herfst/winter beland zijn, wat een noodweer afgelopen dagen.... storm, regen, onweer etc etc. en nu vriest het sneeuwt het weer.

Eigenlijk is dat ook weer niet heel erg want des te meer tijd kunnen wij besteden aan onze grootste hobby "scrappen"!!

Voor de Sketch Challenge van Januari 2013 hebben wij 8 geweldige inzendingen mogen ontvangen, dus wederom gaat er een prijsje vallen onder de inzendingen.

De winnaar van de Sketch Challenge van Januari 2013 is geworden!!!!

Brigitta heeft echt een prachtige uitwerking van de sketch laten zien met o.a. de bewerkte achtergrond met gesso en inkt gecombineerd met prachtige kleuren details en embellisments.

Voor de maand Februari heb ik weer een te gekke sketch uitgezocht en ik hoop dat jullie die mening met mij delen. Stiekum hoop ik dat er nog meer mensen mee gaan doen en dat het nog moeilijker wordt om een winnaar uit te kiezen.

Hello Scrappers!

I am most a paper scrapper, I love patterned papers. However, I have recently discovered a new crush, washi tape. I just love its transparency. So, on my today's project I show a card most made of washi tapes.

For my card I use: washi tapes (Love, Butterflies, Blue Sky, Pink Spirals e Multicolors dots), Patterned Paper from Piña Colada collection, Rhinestones (Kaisercraft), Glimmer Mist, stamp (Studio Calico), Stazon, pen (Uniball Signo) butterfly punch and thread.

I keep my embellishment simple on my project for making my washi tape collage pops up. I stamp the word right on top of it with Stanzon and paint with a Signo pen just for give a bit of color. What do you think?

Fortune cookies van Dulce

Hello scrappers! Today I came with a project totally inspiring on the last Mollie Makes magazine, it's a fortune cookie. My paper fortune cookie is a perfect way to send a message to someone special. It's like a card, but with so much fun!

For this project I just need a mixing of patterned papers, a circle punch and double tape (or glue). Just type different kind of message and put inside the "cookie".

My cookies has a fortune message saying thinks like, "You are with someone special", "You soulmates is with you right now", and something like it. The fun is you can write whatever you want to say to someone!

Kaarten challenge #7 en de winnaar van challenge #6

Hoihoi, wat een winterse weertje hebben we toch, nu ik dit bericht aan het schrijven ben ligt er nog sneeuw, het sneeuwt zelf (20 januari). Heb liever dat de sneeuw weg blijft en dat het lekker vriest dat het kraakt met een heerlijk zonnetje erbij zodat de schaatsliefhebbers hun ijzers onder kunnen binden. Maar ja, dat hebben we hier in Nederland niet voor het zeggen.

Wat we wel kunnen zeggen is dat er wederom een prijs uitgaat van Kaarten challenge #6. Deze keer is de winnaar geworden....................Nelly met haar mooie mannenkaart, zou je contact met ons op willen nemen met Helena, info@scrapplezier.nl dan wordt er een waardebon naar je toe gemaild. Card of our guest Designer Dulce

Hello Girls! It's my first project of this year, so it's time to say Happy New Year to you all!

Today I came with a card made with Child's Play collection from KaiserCraft. As I said before, this collection is so perfect for a love project, including Valentine day's that is almost around the corner (time pass so fast!) I use mostly entire one paper to made this card. Sometimes all you need is just a paper and a stamp to made a great card.

For this card I use: Patterned Paper Child's Play collection and Rhinestones (Kaisercraft),  glue dots, stamp (Studio Calico), Black Pen (Signo).

Sketch Challenge@Scrapplezier.nl - Januari 2013

Het is weer zover, het is vandaag de 10de van de eerste maand van het jaar 2013.

Wat vliegt de tijd, voor dat je het weet zit je weer met z'n allen om de kerstboom met een goed glas wijn.

De winnaar van de vorige sketch is geworden......

Ik wil jullie wel vertellen dat ik onwijs blij ben met het aantal deelnemers van de sketch challenge december 2012, ik hoop dat n.a.v. onderstaande sketch er meer leden mee gaan doen... want het is zo leuk en je leert er onwijs veel van....

Bij voldoende deelnemers (minimaal 5) wordt er door middel van random number generator een winnaar getrokken. Dus ik zou zeggen doe een keertje lekker mee want het wordt weer een leuke prijs. De winnaar kan namelijk een cadeaubon winnen te besteden bij ScrapPlezier.

Ik heb weer een super leuke sketch uitgezocht en wederom komt deze van het blog van KaiserCraft..... het DT team van Scrapplezier heeft ter inspiratie ook hun uitwerking van de sketch naar mij toegestuurd ik wil deze uitwerkingen graag met jullie delen.

Wrapping

Hello! Are you, girls, ready for Christmas! I am a little busy right now with wrapping the gifts. So, today I have a wrapping project to show you and hopelly, inspiring you.

I made a envelope with Child's Play paper from Kaisercraft, a perfect line for boys and girls, and just embelish with this nice and cute tag for give to a cute girl. I use to close the envelope a natural string from May Arts. I think wrapping it's a great way to make any gift you give pop. People love to see a beautiful design and scrap patterned paper is just a great way to do it!

A LOVE card

Hello! Today I have a card to share that I made with Child's Play collection from Kaisercraft. I think because the motif and colors, it's a perfect line to make a project about love, including Valentine's Day projects. Ok, Valentine'd day is a little far from, but it's a perfect timing to begin to think about and buy products for your projects.

For that card I mostly used the patterned paper from this collection. For giving a bit love color, I stitching around with red thread and use glue dots for give some dimension to the images I cut from the patterned paper.

Een lo van onze nieuwe gast designer Dulcinea

Hello girls! I'm so excited to begin to play with you from Scrapplezier community. My first project is about my nephew. Here is a big boy now, but the collection Child's play from Kaisercraft reminder me a time when he was a little baby. 

I love to mix colors, so I use the paper from the collection and a little bit of yellow from a yellow Bazzil's cardstock that I ink sometimes with distressed ink to be darker. I also use a trendy on scrapbook, banners, to make it my focal point and since I have a small picture give some color and structure to the layout. 

To embellish, I cut some design from some papers and punch a heart that I use watercolor to give a bit of color and I stamp a arrow. Even if is a male page, I manage to use a little bit of pink. I think that tag give so much color and life and for not to  look so girly, I try to be more economic on embellishment, specially girly ones, and I use the little of the brads metal for give a boyish look.

I made my own letter using patterned paper (the blue big one), yellow cardstock embossing with clear zing and ink with distress ink. For the small one, I cut from a patterned paper.
