Sam's 1st Christmas met Debbie Pulford.......

Vandaag op het blog van Scrapplezier nog meer Kerst Inspiratie voor het jaar 2017, voor dit design heeft Debbie 2 Kerstcollecties van Kaisercraft gecombineerd te weten - Frosted uit 2016 en Mint Wishes uit 2017!!

Debbie mailde mij het volgende :

Hello Scrap Plezier Friends, it is Deb here with the first reveal for December.  Gee, where has the year gone?

 

I have combined 2 Kaisercraft Christmas Collections – Frosted from 2016 and Mint Wishes from 2017 to create a layout of my eldest sons first Christmas.

 

I took a sheet of Gallery from the Keepsake Collection and using the B side, I spread white gesso onto the layout, taking it almost to all edges.  Once dry I used some Kaisercraft paint in Spearmint and Antique White, and squirted some into the middle of the layout, and taking a rewards card I spread it out towards the edges.  The Spearmint was not quite the colour I was after so when dry, I went over it with the Antique White again.  When this was dry, I watered down the paints and splattered them around the background.  When dry I also splattered some Kaiser Mist in Antique Gold and Apple.  To create more layers on the background, I took Kaisercraft Script stamp, and using black ink, I inked all around the painted section.

 

 

Whilst waiting for this to dry, I stated matting my photo.  I took several 6x6 sheets from both the Frosted and Mint Wishes paper pads, and layered then under the photo.  When the background was totally dry I adhered the photo mat.

 

 

To finish off the layout, I took some diecuts from both collections and placed in position, then added the title, which I outlined with white gel pen.  Finally I placed some Liquid Pearls in White Opal and Mint Green amongst the splatters and glued on some tiny sequin stars from my stash.

 

 

Prachtig begin van deze maand vol kerst inspiratie of je nu designed met oudere foto's of met foto's die nog gemaakt moeten worden de 2 collecties lenen zich daar perfect voor!!

Vandaag op het blog van Scrapplezier een prachtig layout van Debbie, de maand november staat in het teken van Kerst Inspiratie. Debbie heeft voor haar design gebruik gemaakt van de volgende Kaisercraft collecties "Merry Medley" and "Frosted". Het vleugje mixed media mag natuurlijk niet ontbreken op de designs van Debbie!!

Hello friends, my first Kaisercraft layout for November features 2 older Christmas Collections – Merry Medley and Frosted.  I used a 12x12 piece of the Merry Medley collection for my base.  I then took some scraps from the Frosted 6.5x6.5 paper pad and made some layers.  I matted my photo onto a piece from the same pad.  I took a piece of sheer ribbon and tied a bow around the bottom of the photo (most appropriate as it is a Christmas tree with gifts under it).   I then added diecuts from the Frosted collection.  To finish the layout I added ink splashes using Heidi Swapp Colour Shine in Tinsel, Dylusions in White Linen, and Kaisercraft Mist in Denim.  For a bit of sparkle I added some Kaisercraft Crystal Rhinestones.

Wat een Kerst Inspiratie, prachtige combinatie van twee geweldige Kaisercraft collectie, waarbij prachtige elementen worden gebruikt zoals collectables, lint, rhinestones!! Bedankt voor het kijken en geniet van alles wat komen gaat......
