Seasons Greetings met Debbie Pulford......

Vandaag een prachtig Kerst design van Debbie op ons blog, hiervoor heeft Debbie twee kerstlijnen van Kaisercraft met elkaar gecombineerd te weten : Mint Wishes & First Noël. Het design bevat mooie gouden elementen die het tot èèn geheel maken!!

Debbie omschreef hij project als volgt :

For this layout I have used a combination of Kaisercraft Mint Wishes and First Noel.

I took a sheet of Mint Wishes Cabin for the base - I love the colours of this woodgrain paper.   I matted my photo with the B side of a sheet of Flannelette, and added other layers from left over pieces of Mint Wishes and First Noel.  

 

When happy with the layers,  I added some Gold tape from the First Noel sticker book, as well as the title  and the Traditions word.  

 

 

I layered some of the florals and Christmas ornaments from the Mint Wishes diecuts and added some gold leaves and  a bsuble from the First Noel sticker book.  

 

 

 

To finish this simple layout,  I splattered some Gold Heidi Swapp Colour Shine.

Wat een prachtige afsluiting van deze maand, mooie kleuren, schitterende elementen en wat een mooie herinnering aan de kerst!! Bedankt voor het kijken en tot februari 2019......

Vandaag op het blog van Scrapplezier nog meer Kerst Inspiratie voor het jaar 2017, voor dit design heeft Debbie 2 Kerstcollecties van Kaisercraft gecombineerd te weten - Frosted uit 2016 en Mint Wishes uit 2017!!

Hello Scrap Plezier Friends, it is Deb here with the first reveal for December.  Gee, where has the year gone?

 

I have combined 2 Kaisercraft Christmas Collections – Frosted from 2016 and Mint Wishes from 2017 to create a layout of my eldest sons first Christmas.

 

I took a sheet of Gallery from the Keepsake Collection and using the B side, I spread white gesso onto the layout, taking it almost to all edges.  Once dry I used some Kaisercraft paint in Spearmint and Antique White, and squirted some into the middle of the layout, and taking a rewards card I spread it out towards the edges.  The Spearmint was not quite the colour I was after so when dry, I went over it with the Antique White again.  When this was dry, I watered down the paints and splattered them around the background.  When dry I also splattered some Kaiser Mist in Antique Gold and Apple.  To create more layers on the background, I took Kaisercraft Script stamp, and using black ink, I inked all around the painted section.

 

 

Whilst waiting for this to dry, I stated matting my photo.  I took several 6x6 sheets from both the Frosted and Mint Wishes paper pads, and layered then under the photo.  When the background was totally dry I adhered the photo mat.

 

 

To finish off the layout, I took some diecuts from both collections and placed in position, then added the title, which I outlined with white gel pen.  Finally I placed some Liquid Pearls in White Opal and Mint Green amongst the splatters and glued on some tiny sequin stars from my stash.

 

 

Prachtig begin van deze maand vol kerst inspiratie of je nu designed met oudere foto's of met foto's die nog gemaakt moeten worden de 2 collecties lenen zich daar perfect voor!!

Vandaag wederom een prachtig kerst design van Debbie, een layout met een schitterende kerst collectie van Kaisercraft "Mint Wishes", zoals jullie kunnen zien bevat het layout nog geen foto want deze foto moet nog gemaakt worden, ik weet nu al zeker dat deze foto geweldig bij het design van Debbie zal staan......

Hello Scrap Plezier friends, I have for you today a layout created with Kaisercraft Mint Wishes.  I love, love, love this collection. It is not only a Christmas collection but a yummy combination of mint and woodgrain that can be used all year round. 

I started with a sheet of Cabin for the base and using the packaging technique smooshed some watercolour over the paper.  Whilst waiting for this to dry I took a sheet of Flannette and cut the bottom off, just above the floral corner arrangement.  I then came up with the idea of using a Snow Marker pen to trace over the ‘Tis the season’ sentiment to create a raised title that looks and feels like snow.    I then went to the 6x6 paper pad and took out a couple of patterns, distressed the edges and made layers under and around the title piece.  I cut a piece of Fresh Pine and used the B side to create a photo mat.  I added a piece of Kaisercraft lace from the Lace Pack.  I then used some of the diecuts from the Collectibles pack and  the 6x6 paper pad to finish off the layout.

I am looking forward to Christmas Day and a family photo to place on the layout.

Zoals jullie kunnen zien is het natuurlijk mogelijk om al je kerst layouts vooraf te maken, foto's kunnen altijd later toegevoegd worden....een heel inspirerend design en wat een aparte manier om je titel voor elke pagina te maken. Bedankt voor het kijken en tot gauw!!
