Wherever you go met Debbie Pulford......

Vandaag op het blog van Scrapplezier een prachtig layout van Debbie Pulford, hiervoor heeft zij de prachtige collectie van Kaisercraft gebruikt "Memory Lane". Haar beide zoons zijn in het middelpunt van de belangstelling geplaatst. 

Debbie mailde mij het volgende :

I distressed the edges of Mint Blush for the base.  

I took a piece of Morning Frost for the middle layer and tore the top and bottom. The 2 thin strips are the B side of Spring Breeze, and I added the branding strip from Mint Blush.  The banner strips were cut from Mint Blush and Tranquility x 2.  

I used a Kaisercraft Brown Glitter pen to outline some of the layers and finished with stickers from the 12x12 sticker sheet and diecuts from the collectibles pack as well as Kaisercraft White and Black mini alphas and Pearls in Latte and Ice Green

Prachtig design en eerbetoon aan beide kinderen van Debbie en haar man. De collectie Memory Lane bestaat uit oud groene en oud bruine tinten die worden voorzien van romantische bloemen en vlinders!!

Bedankt voor het kijken, ik hoop dat er bij jullie heel veel inspiratie naar boven borrelt om zelf ook lekker aan de slag te kunnen, het weer leent zich er bij uitstek voor!!

Moment by Moment met Debbie Pulford.......

Vandaag op het blog van Scrapplezier een prachtige design van Debbie Pulford, een combinatie van Memory Lane, Pen & Ink en Mixed Media!!

Debbie mailde mij het volgende :

Using a sheet of Memory Lane - Spring Breeze as a base, I raided my scraps drawer for strips of Pen and Ink and found a number of pieces to cut into strips.

I used clear gesso on the base piece and once dry took Kaisercraft stamps in Arty, Checker Plate, Script, and Sketchy and along with Kaiser ink in Bark, randomly stamped over the background.  When dry I layered all the Pen and Ink paper strips, along with a piece of Kaisercraft lace, which I had dyed with Kaiser Mist in Coffee.  I used gel medium to stick all these pieces down.  Once dry, I coated all tbe strips with white gesso to tone down all the patterns.   Whilst waiting for this to dry, I matted my photo on a piece of Kaiser cardboard and inked the edges with the Bark.  I also painted the Kaiser cogs and chevrons with the Coffee Mist. 

 

 

When the gesso was dry, I took Coffee Mist and mixed it with white Kaiser paint, and water to create a wash which I smooched over the gessoed strips and around the edges of same strips.  I also used this watered down mist to paint the Pen and Ink diecuts. 

When it was all dry, I used some really old Kaiser rubons (Stutching) and then adhered my photo, the painted wood veneer and the diecuts, before adding some small circles to tje background using the mist and the lid from the mist bottle and some lines made with mist and an old plastic card. 

 

 

I finished the layout with more rubons around all 4 edges, and dome light mist splatters. 

I am really happy to have used a number of scraps as well as some old rubons from my stash.

Schitterend layout wat geweldig is opgebouwd van basis naar eind resultaat. Op het layout worden verschillende technieken toegepast.

May 2017 met Debbie Pulford.......

Vandaag op het blog van Scrapplezier een prachtig  design van Debbie, voor dit design heeft zij gebruik gemaakt van de Memory Lane collectie van Kaisercraft. Eèn van de mooie collectie's van deze fabrikant en een lust voor het oog en zeker geweldig om mee te werken.

Debbie mailde mij het volgende :

I have used a sheet of Kaisercard in Ivory as the base of the layout. I then took a 12x12 Kaiser stencil, and a tube od Kaiser paint in Antique White and pounced the paint through the stencil on both the left and right side of the base.  This produced the tone on tone look I was after.

While that was drying I looked through my huuuuuge Kaisercraft stash and chose the Memory Lane collection to work with.  I took 3 papers - Tranquility, Mint Blush and Morning Frost to use as the layers under my photo.  This is where I decided to do something different and incorporate angles into my layers and the photo.  Well, that was a great idea!  Talk about measure 3 times and cut once.  I still managed to mess it up, more than once, lol.

I started with the photo and based the other angles off that.  When I finally got it to look symmetrical I forgot to take a photo, I was soooo pleased with myself.

I added the title from the 12x12 sticker sheet, and added further stickers and diecuts from the collection.  I also stamped a few butterflies (which I wish I hadnt done now) and to finish off I poked some holes around the top piece of patterned paper in my stack with the view to hand stitch, but changed my mind on that too as I loved the look the holes as they were.

Mochten jullie nog niet met de prachtige collectie's van Kaisercraft gewerkt hebben dan kan ik jullie dit zeker aanraden om eens te doen. Zie wat voor schitterende layouts naar voren komen. Iedereen die ons volgt en al met de Kaisercraft collecties werkt of heeft gewerkt weet hoe geweldig fijn deze collecties zijn.

My Boys My Life met Debbie Pulford.......

Vandaag op het blog van Scrapplezier een schitterend layout van Debbie Pulford gedesigned met de prachtige Memory Lane Collectie van Kaisercraft!! Voor dit design heeft Debbie 99% gebruik gemaakt van deze collectie en dit maal geen mixed media accenten.....

Debbie omschreef het design dit maal als volgt

Today I have chosen the Memory Lane Collection to use with 2 photos of my boys taken on Christmas Day last year.

 

I began by cutting down a sheet of Tranquility and Misty Rose to form two large triangles to create the middle of my background.  I added these to the B side of a sheet of Morning Frost.  I matted the 2 photos from a sheet of Spring Breeze.  I placed the photos onto the triangles, one top left and the other bottom right.

 

 

I used some old Kaisercraft rubon  alphabets – Scratched Alpha – for the title then added various diecuts from the Diecut pack, as well as a sticker from the 12x12 sticker sheet, and finished off with some Kaisercraft Pearls.

 

 

Prachtige details en elementen zijn te vinden op dit schitterende layout, de prachtige foto's maken het geheel compleet...
